Professor Xu was awarded the second-class National Natural Science Prize, the first-class Science and Technology Achievement Prize of CAS, the second-class Natural Science Prize of CAS, and several science and technology prizes and awards. He was conferred the title “National Outstanding Scientist” in 1984 and elected as a CAS member in 1995. He is presently Member of National Natural Science Awards Committee, President of Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Vice President of International Society of Air Breathing Engines, Editor of Journal of Science in China, Vice Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Engineering Thermophysics, and Editor of Chinese Journal of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Editor of Chinese Journal of Computational Mechanics. He is also the professor of more than 10 Chinese Universities in China. Prof. Xu is author or coauthor of more than 160 papers and articles. |
