Jin, HongGuang Born in 1957. Received Master degree in Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989 Received Dr.Eng. in Chemical Engineering Department, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 1994 1991.4-1992.1 Visiting scholar, 1992.2-1999.1 Research Associate and Associate Professor, Research Laboratory of Resources Utilization, Tokyo Institute of Technology. 1999.2- now Professor, Department of Energy and Environment, IET, CAS Experience and related research background in the fields of integration technology of energy power system, chemical engineering power polygeneration system, friendly environmental energy system, and in the field of energy conversion processes, new energy release processes, complementarities of multi energy resources. Theories of integrated energy system and synthetically cascaded utilization of chemical energy and physical energy are proposed. Found a new method of totally NOx and CO2 control. Proposal and development of a novel power system gets patents in USA and Japan, "Gas Turbine Power Generation Plant with Chemical-looping Combustion". Over one hundred papers are published, and more than forty papers are cited by SCI. Awards: First-Rank Prize of Science and Technology by Ministry of Petroleum; 1988; Second-Rank Prize of Natural Science by Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1991; 1998 National Outstanding Young Scientist by NSF of China, 1999. Societies: Deputy president of Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics Member of Committee of Chinese Energy Research Society Member of the 7th National Committee of Science Association of China Head of Expertise Reviewing Group of National Natural Science Foundation of China Associate editor, the international journal “Energy”.
